Hello, We are looking for a professional, honest property manager in Detroit. Any PM's out there from Detroit? We have single family, freshly rehabbed homes ready to rent. :)

My partner and I recently purchased a 1300 sq ft home in Detroit's Bagley neighborhood. It was built in 1929 and needs a complete rehab. The system is a boiler and all the radiators are missing. We had the heating system quoted and the contractor suggested we change to forced air and put a furnace in the basement and in the attic. He says this will make the duct work easier to install. Has anyone heard of this before? Any thoughts?

Add Bagley to the list of good neighborhoods. North of Marygrove west of U of D. I just bought a beautiful home there to rehab. All brick tudor from the Detroit Land Bank. I am proud that I am chipping away and purchasing inexpensive properties to rehab. We offer people updated and decent places to rent. I talk to the neighbors, plant sunflowers and clean the windows. Naive?? Maybe, but it still feels good to be part of the positive energy and not the negative. I am a suburbanite and have met wonderful, kind-hearted people who live in Detroit.

Help! My partner and I attended the Tarek and Christina El Mourssa Flipping Advantage seminar this past weekend. We signed up for the upcoming 3 day weekend and paid 1997.00 for it. I have been researching this on the web tonight and find many negatives and few positives. Has anyone had experience with this seminar? I would really appreciate the feedback since I am getting COLD feet and considering getting my money back before the 3 day.

Thanks for any assistance. Marianne
