Post: How to Reinforce a front porch concrete slab?

Hello Everyone. I have a unique situation. I’m currently rehabbing a house in KC and the front porch concrete slab overhangs an empty space in the basement and appears unsafe. What kind of company can reinforce it or brace to make it safe and sturdy to walk on and under?  Any suggestion or recommendation is greatly appreciated.

@Nathan Gesner  Thank you! We set a goal for reaching 4 properties this year... but we already reached that and then some! New goal of 10 for 2021!

@Dani Beit-Or Thanks for your great thoughts. We would like to be able to learn more of the ins and outs of RE investing and, hopefully, in the end, be able to know and execute more options on how to scale our business. But, spending $20-40k on mentorship seems very steep. We are still very unsure of it..

Hello BP family,

Can I get your thoughts on the pros and cons in paying for one on one mentorship/coaching with a real estate investing professional? Does anyone have any experience with working with Matt Theriult and Epic Real Estate?

My husband and I are relatively new to real estate investing and we want to be able to scale our business quickly, but moreover, smartly. We both know most RE investors' advice is to take that money that we would spend on mentoring and use it for another property instead, but we are somewhat at a loss as to what avenues we can take to scale our investing rapidly within the next 2-5years and we thought maybe getting some sound guidance may just do the trick. The ACE program that Matt Theriult offers provides systems on how to structure deals and creative financing, etc... It sounds good to us on the surface, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any positive and/or negative experiences.

Thanks in advance!
