Looking at STRs in the upstate NY area, Stone Ridge or Woodstock area. Does anyone have experience in these area and whether it is a profitable year-round market?

Hi y'all new investor here and looking to get a small STR in Cape Cod (preferably in the West Yarmouth area), what do I need to know about the area and STRs? Are there local regulations, is it easy to find cleaners/handymen/contracts/etc.? Any barriers to entry or things you wished you knew for your first property in the area?

Appreciate all the help!
