Hello, I'm new to the bigger pockets community. I'm looking for a mentor to help me achieve my goals i'm aiming for 100 sober living homes. If you are experienced in real estate I'd love to work with you. 😁

@Travis Timmons

So you create wealth through properties appreciating over time by their value going up in the long run? How can I pull that money out and use it to use for normal everyday life?

@Joe Villeneuve

how can you pull out the equity that's frozen to use it? I'm still not understanding how equity grows wealth?

Quote from @Joe Villeneuve:

Cash flow doesn't generate wealth. It allows the REI to hold a property while that property gains in equity from appreciation, which is how you ultimately gain wealth.

How does the equity build wealth over time?

Quote from @Eric Gerakos:

Cash flow doesn’t generate wealth. Appreciation generates wealth. Which is why it’s generally better to own fewer but better properties in areas that are desirable VS owning many “affordable” (undesirable) crapboxes in the Midwest. Best of luck to you.

   How does appreciation build wealth in real estate?

When buying real estate why does cash flow matter if you are getting $100+ per month and it seems such a small amount to generate any wealth?

I am wondering how do I create financial freedom through real estate? What are some steps I can take to create wealth in real estate?

@Jared Galde Are you open to PM, I am curious and want to learn more about this industry?

Thanks,

Dominic

Interesting so getting access to homes and renting them to businesses for either group homes or assisted living is the way to go? What do you mean Charlie by the last section? I goal for freedom is to travel a lot and have freedom to also help out Christianity, and to have the freedom to live life on my own terms.
