@Brody Schofield

Hey man, it’s nice to meet another young fellow aspiring RE investor.

Although I have no experience in bird dogging, I think one of the best ways to make serious money and learn life long skills that carry into real estate is going into some sort of sales.

I live in downtown Salt Lake City, but I’m currently living in Manteca, CA selling D2D pest control. I’ve been out for a month and a half this year and already I’ve sold 150 accounts and starting at 24% commission I’ve made roughly $17k. If I hit my goal at the end of the summer I’ll have made $52k.

I don’t know if this is something that is in the cards for you, but D2D sales is almost a no brainer if you’re wanting good money to shovel into real estate.

If this is something you could be interested in now or in the future, definitely PM me. But if not, we should still connect and talk real estate. There’s definitely a shortage of guys our age dedicated to RE!

@Dan Sheeks Thank you and I did just read your article. Super inspiring and it’s nice to know I can take action while I’m young. I’m definitely open to chat and take some advice!

Hey my name is Dominic, I'm 17 years old from Utah, turning 18 in a couple months, and I've put in a lot of hours into trying to educate myself in the ways of real estate. My main mode of RE I'm interested in is in rental properties, and my goal is to BRRRR a single family home within 1-2 years before I serve an LDS mission. How would I go about starting the steps towards achieving this goal?

I'm also very open to flipping. I'd like to learn to work with my hands and save a lot of money rehabbing property mostly by myself. What are good ways to develop and hone construction and handyman skills as a young person to help me with my future endeavors in real estate?

This is my first post so I hope this goes well, and thank you guys!
