Hi Mark Callazzo . Looking in Bergen,Essex, and Passaic counties primarily right now. Have looked at some central jersey towns such as Edison and New Brunswick. Where are your investors primarily investing? Looking to get in contact with some wholesalers in the North New Jersey area to find some off market deals.

Odie Ayaga I definitely want to start out with a buy and hold on a 2 to 4 unit. Currently looking in the northern and now central NJ areas. Would like to build my network a bit too before i make my first purchase so I'm in the earl stages of finding a deal. How about yourself? Have you had some luck in this market?

I'd like to introduce myself to the BP Community.  This introduction is probably long over-due as I've been a member of BP for I believe over 3-4 months.

I heard about BP from a friend of a friend who told me I had to check out the podcasts about real estate investing.  He continued to boast about the website and all the knowledge he gained about investing and how to start out.  I felt reserved, but obligated to check what BP was all about.

After about 2 months of reading posts, listening to podcasts, and joining a webinar, I can honestly say I've learned a TON about Real Estate Investing. Finally, a website that provides FREE education about REI.

Now, a little introduction about myself.  I work in the Finance Industry and live in Northern New Jersey (Bergen County).  I also have been programming and web designing for over 4+ years.  The combination of my "number-crunching" skills and ability to aggregate data from all over the web (web scraping) can hopefully provide even more education to BP members ranging from market industry data such as region specific market appreciation or portfolio performance.

I have not yet made my first real estate investment, but I believe with the help of BP, I can make it happen.  BP has given me the confidence and resources to get started in Real Estate.  I hope to make great some great connections and start to contribute to the BP Community.
