Romania (Europe) is a good market right now, too. Great potential, good medium-long term investment. I deal properties over there, I have interesting offers. You can let the property and grant you 5.5% rent return, plus a good investment return in 5 years as properties in Romania easily gain value over that period.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions!

Post: Sardinia Again! Tavolara Island

Tavolara is a mountain of limestone and granite 500 m high that sprouts from the sea with its vertical walls. Its ecosystem has been preserved intact in virtue of the difficulty in landing that over the centuries have preserved it from anthropical development. The eastern side, a military zone, is inaccessible, but on the other side is a low strip, called Spalmatore di Terra, there are beautiful beaches, a dock, and two typical restaurants. Together with the nearby islands of Molara and Molarotto, on which 150 specimens of mouflon live, they form a marine park. You can visit it by renting a boat, I'm sure you'll really enjoy it!

When I'm in Sardinia I never miss my boat trip to all marine parks, they're simply wonderful.

But let's go back to Tavolara Island. On the sandy strip of Spalmatore di Terra grow sea lilies while the rocks are covered with bushes of juniper, helichyrisum, rosemary and lentisk. But the island is also home to many beautiful specimens of flora like the Erodium coricum, a variety of geranium and the Asperula deficiens, rare, that only lives on this island. It is said that during the last century Carlo Alberto, king of Piedmont and Sardinia, disembarked on the island in search of the mythical goats of the golden teeth (phenomenon caused by a grass that causes these reflections), and had remained so spellbound by it as to nominate its only inhabitant, Paul Bertolini, "king of Tavolara".

Tavolara can be easily reached from Olbia. The waters of the reserve can be explored with guided dives in a number of places. For instance, to the south of Tavolara, at Teddja Liscia, astree, red starfish, grouper, but also yellow Gorgonie appear among the ravines and the burrows in the blocks of limestone.

After all this...don't miss your opportunity to invest in Sardinia! My family and me are seriously thinking of buying a vacation home in Sardinia, there are a lot of good opportunities and remember that buying a house is one of the best investments you could do when the world is experiencing economic crisis like this one!

And remember that our prices starts from $ 258.000!

There's a new residence in Olbia, the resort is located in a place of significant environmental value bordering the 2 above mentioned protected marine areas of Tavolara and Molara, and La Maddalena, and is walking distance to a white sand beach.
Ground floor units are equipped with both a garden and a sea front entrance. First floor units have a terrace overlooking the sea . Each unit has a parking space, with the possibility of a lock up garage. Sizes of the apartments include 2 rooms or 3 rooms apartments, but it's also possible to combine more units to reach up to 6, 7, 8 rooms.

Sounds interesting!

I can bet once you try Sardinia, you'll fall in love with its nature, waters, landscapes, lifestyle!

Feel free to ask me all information you might need on Sardinia, Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo, Itineraries, Food and, of course, on sardinian properties!

Bye for now!
Silvia

Today I'll give you some hints on Sardegna, one of my favourite!
I love the turquoise of the Sardinian sea, its white sands, fabolous landscapes and its summer lifestyle! I've been there for many years and I'll keep going back, that's sure.
You know what famous Italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De Andrè said about Sardinia?
“Life in Sardinia is maybe one of the best one could wish: 24.000 km of woods, countryside, coastlines immersed in a miraculous sea are what I'd suggest God to give us as Paradiseâ€.
That's true, Sardinia has really much to offer.
Thanks to the mild weather, to uncontaminated landscapes, to the purity of the aquamarine waters, and to its historical and archaeological sites, Sardinia attracts every year many and many tourists from everywhere in the world.
From Catalan influences to Celtic landscapes, the island is a magical blend of traditions and charming peculiarities. You can visit prehistoric landmarks, sail into hidden coves, admire picturesque bays and the typical mediterranean scrub that grows luxuriant and spreads its scents all around. Sardinia preserves a big variety of natural beauties and biological resources. Just take a look at the beaches....I think Sardinia is the reign of the most beautiful italian beaches.
When you talk about Sardinia, you can't help mentioning “Costa Smeraldaâ€, the Emerald Coast, the pulsing heart of Sardinia with its Porto Cervo e Porto Rotondo. Sardinia has what I call a “double personalityâ€: this marvellous region can offer nature and history, but it can also offer a vibrant, intense, fashionable day and night life.
During the day just sprawl on day beds eating and drinking like the Romans at one of the most famous and splendid Sardinia beaches, then do some snorkelling in the emerald sea. In the afternoon spend time walking around Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo, along their famous and cute squares, do some shopping visiting all exclusive boutiques, visit the dock where luxurious yachts are moored...In the evening sip cocktails or have dinner at the Billionaire, or enjoy the music at one of the Cafè in Porto Cervo.
Well, better wake up from this dream! Summer is far away! But why not meet you there?
You know, Sardinia real estate market has high values (good and profitable real estate investments starts from € 200.000,00) but Sardinia is one of the “precious†investment regions, for its rental potential and because properties' values will be hardly affected by market changes, but will rather stay stable or even keep rising.
Please contact me for further information!

Bye now!

Hi there! Some of you posed this question to me: "Why should I invest in Italy?" Well, this is my answer (that I also put in my blog):

"Italian real estate market is an exciting market to invest in, it is an attractive prospect to potential buyers.

Excellent weather, beautiful places and landscapes, good food and wine, culture, history, friendly people are reasons why Italy is second to none as a destination for overseas investors.

The 3 main reasons for buying a property in Italy are for a vacation home, for a permanent residence for those who are looking to relocate (even for business), for the buy-to-let market.

Don't forget Italy is a primary tourist destination, too, so for those who are interested in the buy to let market the high numbers of tourists coming to Italy are appealing. Foreign tourists are not the only market in Italy. Italians enjoy their country, too, and travel around creating a strong internal market. So there's a strong rental potential both from the tourist market and the internal market.

There are places (like Sardegna) that reveal themselves as “precious†investment regions, for their rental potential and because properties values will be hardly affected by market changes."

In a few days I'll post information on some "hot" regions and cities. Please if you have specific info requests, do not hesitate to ask!
