Bp is a great source of information. As I log on in the mornings and through out the day to check the forums I learn something with each post. You guys insight to REI, do's and don't, bad investment strategies ect continue to motivate me to educate myself on this buisness. Great post OP it sure motivated to get out here and apply what I learn.

Thank you all for the welcomes.

@ Joe Fairless

As I continue to read the pros and cons of having a license the only cons I see are cost or money spent(in my breif readings on BP). Wanted to be able to do my own deals, have more knowledge of the process of buying and selling and access to properties (MLS, viewing). Didn't see it as a bad thing as much as it could be a benefit. Figuring on working with the right Agency/Brooker. If there is any advice or direction you could point me in it will be helpful.

Totally new to real estate scene. Looking to start small and grow. Hoping to start by getting my real estate licenses and gathering as much information along the way to my first purchase. Currently working my full time job as a City Firefighter looking to supplement my income as I work toward retirement.
