Thank you for your response Andreas! Your analysis on rental returns in Germany is very interesting. Where/how did you find information for your search? I would like to analyse the Hungarian rental market but I don't really know where to start.

Thank you for all the advice! I will start asking property managers first. They seem to be easier to find. Hopefully I can get some info on meetings or clubs from them.

Thats cool! I didn't know there is a US AF base in Bitburg. It's actually the other side of the country from Dresden, but we'll see :)

Sorry, I was unclear in my first post. I am actually from Hungary. We moved last year with my wife, and we plan to live here in Germany. I could start investing in Hungary (and it might be easier due to lower prices and language), but we want to stay here, so we plan to invest here in Dresden.

I am still looking for REIA club meetings in Dresden or nearby. I expected it to be quite obvious to find one, but I still couldn't find any.

I start watching podcasts till then.

It would be nice to talk with you if you ever visit Germany @Huy N. !

Hello Everyone! I found BiggerPocket only a few months ago, and I think you have a really great community here and I wanted to be part of it. I'm only a wannabe investor yet, but I work hard on educating myself, and hopefully I gain the courage soon and start investing!

I live in Dresden, Germany, and I plan to invest in buy-and-hold rentals. Is there anybody here from Dresden, or at least Germany? :)
