I will definitely check out REIN. Thank you

Yes my fiancé and I just recently found an apartment in Hendersonville so that we could be centrally located. I already own a home that I am renting out in Portland, TN, and want to keep both eyes on the lookout for my next purchase. Whether its a buy and hold or flip.

Excited to hear there is a renters market out here in Hendersonville/Gallatin. Curious as to what the rest of Sumner county looks like. Time for me to start doing some primary research.

Guessing you have some rental properties out here? @Taylor Ferrell?

Hi everyone,

Just moved here from San Diego where I renovated my old house before selling. I did a lot of homework including using bigger pockets as a huge resource. Podcasts, forums & of course reading and re reading the book on flipping houses w/ j Scott.

I am currently looking to network with other investors/contractors/real estate agents here in the area. My farm area will include anything within a 30 minute drive from hendersonville. I still need to educate myself on the area (I'd love to hear everyones thoughts on it) but this will probably include Nashville, Gallatin, Hendersonville, Goodlettsvile etc.. all the way up to white house and Portland

I will obviously be looking for distressed properties. No wishes here to buy properties at full market value.

I am open to both flipping and buying & holding/ renting. Looking for opportunities that present themselves. While I have experience with renovations I do not have a network of contractors out here. Same with investing agents. I will have to establish this. I have also not done any research on the renters market out here yet (would also love to hear your two cents on this).

so If anyone would like to meet up for coffee or just message back and forth here on the board or text let me know. I love this kind of stuff & it gets me pumped and Id love to meet people who feel the same way.

Hi Everyone,

New "investor" here on BP. Listened to tons of podcasts, read The book on flipping houses, rental property investing and now currently reading the book on estimating rehab costs. Always had a fascination for real estate investing and now I find myself in a position to start.

Getting ready to sell my home here in SD because I'm moving to Nashville. It needs quite the renovation. After calculating CAPEX and other expenses it seems id get a better return investing elsewhere. I have a TON of equity in the home, but the loan I have is pretty new. Anyways I've decided to renovate and sell.

Ive created a SOW, and I'm just starting to get quotes on each project. (I will be hiring subs and managing the project myself). I don't move until mid June, so I figure that gives me about 9 weeks to finish construction before I list it on the market May 1st.

I am curious if anyone has any licensed subs that they highly respect and would recommend. I am getting quotes for landscaping, ext. paint, int. paint, some rough electrical, cabinet/counters, deck work, carpentry, finish electrical, finish plumbing, and flooring.

also, if anyone has advice on getting materials cheap or anything other information they find valuable I'm all ears.

Thanks to everyone in advance.
