Please accept my apolgies for waiting so long to introduce myself. I am interested in networking with other likeminded investors in Michigan, Seattle, San Francisco and the Tampa Bay area... I just wanted to say that I think this web site is the greatest! Please check out my profile, Thanks!

Post: partnering with homeowners

Hope I picked the right forum for this question...In light of our current credit crunch and my lack of excellent credit, acquiring a business line of credit seems unlikely so I have heard of partnering with homeowners with good credit and equity. By helping them get a HELOC they can earn a good income from a dead assett while investing in a real estate investment company. I thought this might also be a great way for me to raise the startup capital needed for my business as an alternative way of acquring business lines of credit for business expenses...especially for those in michigan who still have equity in their homes. Please point me in the right direction so that I can educate myself on this and learn how to go about setting this up.

Thank You!
David
