Has anyone ever heard of or used Loopnet and CoStar for commercial real estate advertising? If so, what are you thoughts on it usefulness?

I am a Pittsburgh based real estate agent that is looking to develop working relationships with builders, developers, and investors. I have many ideas, some outside the box. I started my career in real estate contacting a builder that couldn't sell his expensive investment home despite the efforts of "big name" real estate companies. He took a chance on me and I came through for him. I enjoy the challenge of taking on new and difficult projects. I enjoy exploring new markets and ideas. I hope to make some contacts on BP with similar thinking people in other aspects of the game to make things happen.

I have had good results in getting showings. never a closing. One tip is to constanly update and refresh your listing so it doesn't get buried in the hundreds of listings.

I don't see much activity in Pittsburgh on this site. I am hoping the new Majestic Star Casino and the new Penguins arena project bring some life to Pittsburgh. Anyone actively investing in this city?
