@Andrew Davis thank you so much for that! I feel a little better now. I have my tenants on leases so at least that’s good. I do just need to figure out how to increase my income ASAP! I actually live in Maitland too so we should meet up lol

@Daniel Haberkost yes for my house since I have been updating it I can probably get $1400 if I rent it in full. I’m hoping I can move up or even get a higher paying job. The co sign thing is a good idea too!

Thanks for the words @Daniel Haberkost ! Would that help me substantially? My fear is that I will not get much from my lender.

Its actually a 3 bedroom 2 bath home so I am am renting out by room so I actually come out of pocket for the mortgage at $28 a month. I purchased it back in August so wouldn't I have to wait 2 years to do it through FHA?

For Fund Grow where can I get more info on that because I actually have not heard of that.

Thank you so much for the advice!

Hello all!

I just purchased my first home to house hack a couple of months ago which was tough because of my debt to income ratio along with the fact I dont make more than 40k a year. With that being said what would be the best way for me to get a second property so I can rent out the first one in full? Please give me some tips because I am looking to buy as early as I can next year :)

@Joel Montoya

I would love to do this! Sometimes I feel like I’m asking dumb questions when I’m in groups with experienced investors (I know I shouldn’t). Let me know when you would like to start!

I finally have enough money saved for a down payment on my first property but now I am trying to determine where I should get my loan from. Any advice as to what I should look for when looking for a lender?
