Just the topic I was looking for. Thanks for putting it here.

I’m getting ready, in ~3-4 months to rent a 4-bed house in Ravenna. Could be a family rental but I think a roommates situation would give me higher income.

If it’s a group of friends that know each other, would you still furnish common areas? I.e couch, dining table, etc or let them do it?

Best places to market by the room or to roommates? Young professionals would be my ideal tenant in my case.

Hi BP, I live in Seattle but I'm looking to buy rental property(s) in one of these two cities. More landlord-friendly laws and lower prices than Seattle.

Any locals have insights about the best RTP locations? Thank you! Also, are you seeing rents close to downtown / in the city go down due to COVID-19? We're seeing that effect in Seattle so I wonder if I must be cautious in my assumptions for how much I could get for rent.
