Live in Texas and in the process of buying my primary. Would like to get into rental properties.

What can I do to fund property after buying primary. I have good credit and savings but DTI might be an issue after primary home.

Hello BP,

My name is Diego. I am 26 years old. New to Real Estate and very motivated to start. I am from South Texas but currently residing in Houston area. I made a move due to lack of work in the area, leaving my wife and son back home. I have no money to start my REI venture. I am open to learning and expanding my knowledge. I've read several books and continue to do so, as well as daily BP podcasts. Was interested in Wholesaling for the quick cash, but i am more interested in buy/hold and flipping. I'd love to not work another job I do not like and spend time with my family, unlike now.
