Hi Diana, I have a lot of clients investing in the Modesto area for MTR to traveling nurses as we have the highest serviced bed count until you get to either Sacramento or Fresno. The appeal for Modesto is other factors bolstering the economy and growth therein which will result in appreciation and lower vacancy rates. I will send you a DM!

I'm not as familiarized with MTR as with STR but I'm more than happy to learn more about it. Thank you!

Hey @Diana Bodnaryuk, my colleague @Noah Laker at Hardin Realty is well versed in STR's in Sacramento in the acquisition and management side. I'd recommend chatting with him.

Thank you so much for the quote Scott! I appreciate the reference and help!

Quote from @Noah Laker:

Hey Diana,

Looking to invest in STR properties or manage for others? Do you have any prior experience with property management or any properties of your own yet? What are your professional goals?

Hi Noah thank you so much for the reply. I'm currently learning the business of corporate housing, so I'm beginner in Real Estate.

I have prior experience managing hotel services and revenue so I feel confident in the area even though it's quite different from managing Corporate Housing, but it's a great background to help me getting started. The main goal is to build a Corporate Housing Company, and the idea to begin by managing other properties, followed by rental arbitrage, to get lastly to buy properties for such investment.

All advice is highly appreciated!!

Hi all! I'm researching STR options to get starter, and I'm wondering what areas of Northern California are prosperous for Airbnbs?

I'm situated in Bay Area and I see that all this area is crazily restrictive on STR regulations, but still would like to begin my first place not being too far from me, if possible.

Anyone out there invest in STR in California around Bay Area and have success? Thanks everyone!!
