Hello Everyone. I was looking to gain proper knowledge on how learn “your market”, strategies, real numbers and things of that nature. I keep seeing to be a wholesaler you need to know your market and know real numbers.... can anyone guide me in the best books or other source of information.

@Charlie MacPherson okay so say i realize my niche isn't wholesaling I read deep into its and i know it's not for me i still wanna do RE but not as a wholesaler. What would you suggest doing next becoming a agent or just continuing building my credit until I can get a FHA or 203k to start my first income property?

@Sam Shueh thank you so much for your input. So now in order to get a brokers license I have to become an agent first correct.

@Marcus Auerbach thank you so much for responding and I totally understand and agree with what your saying. I’m

At the point where I’m figuring out what’s next for myself when I always thought about real estate i have always just thought of flipping houses and remodeling what i consider to be a fun and interesting job. I never thought about what would lead up to that part and all the knowledge & effort put in it. I’m on a temporary lay off from work and honestly I’m tired of never knowing when I’m going back and for how long. I was thinking of maybe getting a license leaving my current job and working under someone for a year or two just to learn from their expertise. Realistically I know due to the fact that I’m repairing my credit rn it’s going to be a minimum of 6 months before I’m ready to buy my first piece of property. I just wanna set myself up in the best position and learn as much as I possibly can hopefully I can generate some income until I’m ready to my own purchase.
