Hi Robert thank you. I’m actually working full time and doing school part time. So not sure if that changes things for the better

Hello

I'm currently renting a single family apartment and I want to get into real estate investing. I also going to school for my MBA which loans are deferred until I graduate a few years later. I have a decent credit score but a somewhat high Debt to Income ratio. What would you recommend in terms of investing in properties as well as getting financing? I believe there is a way to get involved in getting my first deal and I don't want to sit on the sidelines. Any advice is helpful. Kind regards.

This is all great advice. I️ would love to do house hacking but unfortunately I️ already rent a single family house with my girlfriend. Is there another option I️ can do? Or maybe it is possible to do a house hacking without physically living in the place??

Would you recommend opening an LLC as the first step ? Also I️ like the idea of an FHA loan and starting with one property to see how it goes. My biggest worry is lack of capital considering I️ myself rent, and have school and debt loans. But I️ refuse to give up on making real estate happen. Fortunately I️ have good credit so getting a loan will not be a challenge

Thanks all, excited to learn and get to know all of you. How would you rate the Connecticut market right now especially in the greater Hartford area?

Hello, my name is Dexter. 29 years old currently working at a Fortune 500 company while doing my MBA program. Been listening to Bigger Pockets for awhile and looking to jump into real estate. Right now I have a 3-day workshop to learn all types of real estate and how to start acquiring properties. Currently, do not have much capital but willing to work and learn all tips of the trade to get started. Looking to have 3-4 properties by the end of 2018 while going for more.

Looking for ideas & guidance especially on financing. I do have good credit so wondering I should just go to the bank for a loan for my first property or should I jump into wholesaling or seller finance options.  Also to meet fellow real estate investors in the 860 area as well as nationally.

My goal is to achieve financial freedom through real estate and hopefully in 5 years get involved in some commercial real estate. I want to own some properties in my hometown of New Britain CT as well as surrounding areas.

Kind regards
