I have a question about rental properties. After you fix and flip a property how do you calculate how much rent should be for each unit?

I am currently working on purchasing a flip in Gardena Ca. Are there any investors that can refer me to a contractor that will save a lot of money on the flip? The numbers are

Purchase price $415,000

Rehab $55,000

Closing $550,000

The contractor quoted me $100,000

Do you know someone that can do it for $55,000?

@Holly Birchall

Thank you as well, Holly. That helps me a lot. I was confused on what to ask for from the contractors. I'm doing a rehab/reface first just to start off with and then work my way into a full fix and flip.

Hi, I am working on purchasing my first fix and flip. I've done some research and read a lot of books. I am getting my team together as well. One of my questions is do the general contractor get the material (cabinets, countertops, flooring, paint, etc) or do I have to look for all that on my own? If so, where do you look to get the material and how much is too much? I live in Los Angeles, California.

HELLLLP!!
