Congrats!! My name is Jenny and I am new investor as well. I am interested in contacting the REO listing agents to in my area. My one drawback right now is funding. I am having a hard time finding a good HML that is not brokering. If you don't mind me asking, did you finace through a bank, HML or Private money for your REO?

Any suggestions on finding those local HML would be great.

I spotted what appears to be a distressed property in a nice neighborhood. I researched the property online and didn't find any evidence foreclosure.

What is the best to find out what is going on with this property? Should I send a letter or maybe speak with the neighbors first?

My name is Jenny and I am just learning about REI. I have been doing lots of reading, looking at properties, been to an REI club and asking questions. I am looking to develop a solid buyer's list so I can start off with wholesales and then try my hand at rehabbing.
