Quote from @Jason Bohling:

@Derrick Quals to be honest, given how much David Greene has contributed to BP, how hard he worked for them and the community, I gotta say it was pretty unprofessional and wrong to send them out the way they did…just totally uncool. I wish I could say I don’t see BiggerPockets as an organization in a more negative light now, but I do.

Yes, there is no telling on what happened behind closed doors regarding David and Rob leaving, but David expressed that he wanted to have more control on who they interviewed. I'm sure David will be able to focus more on taking his podcast interviews in a different direction like Brandon did when he left. Business is business at the end of the day. I still listen to all 4 hosts anyways, wherever they go. They always have great input and knowledge that they share.

If you go to DG's last post on Insta, it will shed some light. Basically artistic differences.

Grant it, I know you already have a lot of replies but want to show you my support as well. Beleive me, I was there too and still have those days sometimes. I even recall driving 30 miles to a large meetup and felt so overwhelmed that I left without even talking to anyone. Just know that there are people willing to help. A lot of us take pride in helping others. You already showed great strength just by starting on this journey and taking small actions. Just keep at it. All great things are hard at the beginning. It will get easier, I promise.

More of a question vs advise, but have you tried furnishedfinder? There are also other platforms specifically geared towards traveling nurses who may be more inclined to a roommate environment.

I live is SoCal and have a normal CPA that does my taxes every year. This coming tax season, I now own a mid term rental in AZ and a long term rental in MO. My tax guy admitted that he is not well versed in REI taxes and was unsure on how to best structure my investment business. Does anyone have any recommendations for a real estate tax professional?

It's funny you mention 2019. When I watch a lot of these rehab shows, albeit scripted, I love looking at thier repair costs. Recently watching one, I saw thier final numbers and almost vomited because of how cheap it was. Googled the particular episode and saw the air date was 2019 (before covid, inflation, material/ labor shortage). Felt much better after that and glad I didn't call and yell at my contractor 😅.

Anyone have have guilty pleasure or "go to" show they watch regarding real estate? For me, I love Hometown and of course Fixer Upper because who doesn't love Chip and Jo. I'm not a flipper but these shows are definitely a guilty pleasure for me.

Thank you, AJ for the reply. Since I'm currently living in LA, I just wasn't sure if it was more beneficial to have both properties under 1 LLC or have them in an LLC for the own separate state location.

Hello all fellow BP members! Looking for some guidance. I am a long distance real estate investor with a single family rental in Goodyear, AZ and a Duplex in St Louis, MO. For those who have already walked this path, did you set your properties up into an LLC? If so, did you place them both in an LLC or separate due to being in different states?

I thank you all in advance for your help!
