I recently changed my business name in Michigan. Two of my rental properties are in the old name. Still the same business, just submitted an amendment to the articles of incorporation.

My question is, do I need to switch the old properties over to the new name or can I keep as is? If I need to switch, how would I go about doing so?

Does someone have a suggestion for a good CPA near Ann Arbor, Michigan? Looking for someone to manage my business & personal taxes / real estate transactions.

I have a tenet in Michigan that called yesterday to say she got accepted into senior housing. We are 3 months into a 12 month lease. What are my legal rights? Can I go after the remaining 9 months of rent for her breaching the lease?
