What’s going on BiggerPockets fam! Some cool news for you guys this Tuesday night. So, one of the people on my team for this venture that we’re in the process of setting up for found a nice piece of land that’s about 9 acres here in NC for only $110k!

You know why this is exciting to me? It’s because we now have a pretty accurate figure on how much an acre of land costs (right around) in Charlotte to be exact. Which also means that I can really crunch the numbers for the amount of land I want to buy outright for this venture once we get to that point.

I’ve never been so ready to get a project done than I have for this one. Can’t wait to keep giving you guys pieces of this puzzle until it all comes together.

Talk soon,

Deondre

@Steven Foster Wilson thanks for the input. The end situation really is in the case something wrong happens during this process, before he decides to seal the deal with us he wants to have a legal covering.

Hello again BiggerPockets fam! To end off a nice weekend, the fellas (also the two people I’m going into this business with) and I cracked a couple of cigars and did our brainstorming for the mobile home flipping venture we’re getting into to raise capital (in the beginning) for the main project that I’ve been raving about.

One of the key subjects we spoke about was what kind of legal entity should we have our business as. We all agreed on an LLC but according to what I've been researching from different sources on here, it seems that it's not the most practical in this lane. Am I interpreting this correctly?

Definitely need sound, professional advice on this one.

@Robi Schreckhise awesome just accepted it! And I’ll be working on posting on the real estate startup topic every day to share the breakdown of my plan.

@Robi Schreckhise you live in Charlotte too! Oh yeah you have to get the scoop let’s connect!

Thank you @Bryan Noth can’t wait for you all to see everything come to fruition!

@Marlen Weber yes let’s connect!

Hello BiggerPockets family my name’s Deondre and I’m a singer, songwriter and drummer by night.

By day, I work as a QA Analyst for a health insurance brokerage called GoHealth. If you all know about the company give me an “indeed” comment below.

What I’m working on right now is what I like to call a “passion project” because this venture heavily hits home for me. I currently live in Charlotte, NC and I’m tackling a particular lane of real estate that hasn’t been taken advantage of to its fullest. Can’t wait for you all to hear in greater detail what I’ve got cooking up in the near future!

Talk soon,
