Hey @Doug Hogan, no it's not a foolish idea to hold onto it. Have you run the numbers on MTR/STR to see if your cash flow improves? Obviously you'll want to budget for vacancy, Capex, maintenance, PM, etc....but I'm curious if those other strategies work to help even things out. Also, I would factor in your interest rate. If you have sometime locked in below a 4% mortgage, then maybe it makes sense to hold it. But if you are stuck with a higher rate, then you might be taking the right approach in offloading it.
