I've been trying to make some serious dough since I was 16 years old. Now I've just turned 23.
I've bought and sold bicycles on craigslist.
Bought and sold furniture.
Sold handmade woodcraft at the flea market.
Then I came across 2 very products, which I helped make very very popular in my state.
I ended up running to kiosk in malls. And participating in events and flea markets with this products.
In 2 years, I grossed 1.1 million dollars. (Now this is gross, sadly I don't have anywhere near this in cash, but I've learned a whole lot.)
Honestly I could've done things way better. Now I'm taking the product and going to move to another state to do it again. I'm looking at Texas for various reasons.
The place where I'm from has SFH in the 400k and up price.
I laugh at the cost of living and prices in different areas. Even the rent cost of kiosk is just way more affordable.
I'm trying to make another stream of income and also stay motivated. Knowing that I can make earned income of $10k in more. (Now I'm going to focus on creating systems and open more kiosk and train a team at a higher level.)
To stay motivated I need a new carrot or new goal. I never thought $10k a month in income wouldn't entice me.
If I knew I needed $500k down payment to purchase a motel/hotel or apt bldg that would product huge cash flow which is more secure than my current venture. I would be more motivated.
But I'm also more of a details person. What do I need to qualify/do to be able to purchase a commercial property? I'm young so I like working and like mingling with people. So a motel might be interesting. Or a apt building.
I'm not buffing, but I know in my new state, that I'll be generating income way above my living expenses. All I'll be doing is buying more inventory, or just stocking it away in a checkings. Account. I do have a amount current saved. But what can I do with my cash flow, to turn it into more, instead of just piling it, into checkings?
I've done a lot of reading online. And never posted at a forum. Here goes!
