Hey Everyone, I'm excited to be part of Bigger Pockets

My family and I live in Massachusetts, where I've done 1 live-in flip over 2 years with $25k profit.  Doing all the work to rehab a 1951 ranch, without realizing this had a name.  Then, we moved to a bigger house and have raised the kids for the past 11 years.

I've been a Project Manager for DXC during that time, working from home and traveling to manage multi-million dollar IT programs for major companies like Under Armour, ETS, ACCO. After reading Rich Dad two years ago I saw the light and signed up for the coaching, set up an LLC, went on to read 30 other books, and finally found Bigger Pockets. I've analyzed 100 deals as part of the program and nearly all were no good. I've also watched nearly every US DXC employee get laid off and fear I will eventually be part of the culling, despite my stellar reputation. I feel that my business degree, project management experience, and a lifetime of handyman experience are a great mix to become a successful real estate investor and I can't wait to get started!

In June we are moving to the Charlottesville, Va area to be near my wife's family, enjoy warmer weather, cheaper SF home prices, and most of all begin my journey to financial freedom.   We are looking for a primary residence and rental properties and am seeking brokers, agents, lawyers, and CPAs in the area.

I've already begun networking and market research so that I can hit the ground running and provide value to potential partners in the area.

I look forward to meeting many of you!

Post: Great way to start off the year!

Please tell me more about the 5% rehab loan.  I haven't heard of that.  Thanks and congrats!
