For 51K you can make realy big mistakes (and learn from it), or you can hire a professional investor for one day a week for al whole year.

When you send that much money, I am still not sure you will learn anything from it. And after the course you also need money to start investing.

So why not jump in to the game.

Have a great day.

Hi Michael,

You can let check your house by a house inspector.

He will look for all problems in your house. Like roof, floors, walls and so on. Normaly they will give you a rough estimation of the costs.

He is not looking for the nice colour on the front door. He will just look if the door is rotting away because the lack of paint.

Or you can ask your local handyman to make an estimate for the jobs to do.

Have a great day.

Hi there,

Every body knows you have to screen your new tenant.

One of the points is to check the previous landlords of the tenant.

What can you do if the tenant sold his house and wants to rent your house? Can you do any check?

What if it is a young tenant who left his eldery home? Can you call his mother??

What if the tenant is deforced and is gonna leave the house (his or her own house). How can you check the living standards of the tenant in this case?

Best Regards,

Dennis

I got it Roy. Thank you.

According the 1 % rule the monthly rent has to be 1 percent of the purchase price of a house.

When you buy a house for 250.000 dollar does that mean the rent will be 2500 every month?

Who has experiende with this numbers by yourself?

I look forward for your comments.

Thank you for the explanation Roy.

It is totaly clear for me.

But my uncle also can be a hard lender even without licence.

I am searching for the difference between these two kinds of loans, but still don't get it.

Anyone who can explain me?

Thank you.

Hi there,

I am Dennis Meppelink and interested in investing in real estate.

At this moment I have several investings.

As there are:

One recreation bungalow

One apartment in my own house

One shed separated in several storehouses.

Currently I am interested in buy and hold.

I listen to the podcasts from BP and read about investings.

My normal job is landscaping.

I love to talk with you about investments.
