Post: Transforming a rental investment into a business

Hi All, 

I own several rental units in the Bay Area. I have been stuck with how to progress into building a full rental investment property business. I tend to do most of the work myself, for example, maintenance and showings. I just feel like I am doing it wrong. Any advice on how to build and structure a business plan from this?

I have been looking into hiring a PM company to manage some of properties in the Bay Area, specifically in San Francisco. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on a company you worked with or have any advice of what to look for in a PM company? Thank you.
