How do you determine what to charge for a security deposit?

Do most landlords collect the last months rent?

You are correct. I’m going to be renting my house, I originally was going to sell it but my realtor said why don’t you rent it and she would find me a tenant.

This is all new to me and was quite nervous when she suggested this but this is the right thing to do and my realtor is awesome. I actually bought my house from her 8 years ago, she is the best.

I’m thinking about renting my home, will my insurance go through the roof since I now have homestead exemptions? I’m in Florida.
