Hi Brian, I just passed the 60 days as that would have been last week. Does that mean I will be taxed on the interest earned from my investment?

What is a name of a firm that we can consider moving my husband's Roth to for the purpose of investing in real estate? Mahalo

Aloha, do I inform my Edward Jones guy to switch it over to a self directed IRA? That would be my husband's acct. as I used mine for that 12% initial investment with the real estate flipper or can I do that with my money when I get it back in 2-3 months? Did I already make a poor decision?

Aloha Brian, I used $40000 of my Roth for the investment in a flip. 4 to 6 months time line. I don't think I understand the self directed IRA ...My shallow understanding is I would take the entire principle and profit and reinvest it in another deal. Until ultimately the ROI is equal to my original investment. I just figured it was a quicknway to get 12% instead of seeing my balance dwindle with each quarter...Is it too late to invest once I get my $ back to put it into a self directed IRA, we did not touch my husband's ROTH, so if there is something smart we can do with his please share. It's sad to see thousand of $'s dissappear. Appreciate your time and knowledge.

With the market not showing positive gains, wondering if I should pull out my Roth, no penalty as I am 61, and invest in a syndication?  Our local flipper is offering 12% return.  Thoughts + or -.
