Michael, did you end up using Zillow's rental protection? If so, how is it working out? I am considering it.

Hello,

I have a single-family home that I want to rent out. However, an elderly person lived here previously and stairs from the garage to main floor were taken out and a small elevator put in. It seems like I should let the tenant use the elevator -- otherwise , they'd  have to walk out the garage and up a hill to get in to the house, which I'm sure they won't want to do in bad weather. But I'm also afraid if they (or kids) break the elevator, it could be very costly to repair.  Any suggestions for how to structure the lease so I'd be responsible for normal wear/tear but they'd be for misusing it?  Or recruiting a tenant who could use this feature? Thanks in advance!!!
