There's a lot of online RTA cabinet companies that have similar price points as the Lowes or Home Depot option, but that are far better quality.  try http://www.cabinetgiant.com

IF you've never done RTA (ready to assemble) its super simple.  Just got to add a little extra time putting them together.  Congrats on escaping CA

Hi there! We are the mgmt co. We have traditionally been using Home Depot cabinets for awhile but have noticed how quickly they wear. I have most of my real estate in San Diego and use companies that sell prefab countertops and kitchen cabinets in bulk. Trying to find a similar place in Houston as I just purchased a 15 unit there.

Hi Jim, no insult taken. And yes I do know enough about cabinetry. I’ve been an investor for over 15 years and own just under 50 units. Thanks for your feedback.

I mean no insult, Debbra, but do you know enough about kitchen cabinet construction to decide what's a good-quality cabinet carcass and what isn't? Because quite a lot of Home Depot/Lowe's stuff is right up there as far as the carcasses go, and if you want a higher-end look all you have to do is veneer the frames and change out the doors from a refacing outfit to get pretty much anything you want.

Thanks for your input! Are these rentals or flips? Which brand are they?

Hi! We just closed on a 15 unit apartment building in central Houston. Looking for a cabinet/granite supplier.  Anyone know of a warehouse that carries prefab countertops and kitchen cabinets that are a notch above HD / Lowes cabinets that are ready to assemble?

Great to know! We purchased a smaller multi-family in Eastern Houston not too long ago and close to full occupancy. Closing on a duplex next week as well. Thanks for the info!
