I would suggest both over the phone and then also send an overnighted letter to each credit card company requesting the specific disputes to be placed and why.  What you need to show to the CC companies for the dispute is where Guru BREACHED the agreement.  What did they specifically not provide you with that you paid for.

They sent you to the wrong address in the middle of a snowstorm???

Yes, no doubt !!! The dilemma caused me half day late to the 40K bootcamp, and I also had to wait for 6 days for my consultant to find time to talk to me. with the email ending in the end " please understand I am a single dad, I run business, please do not text me day and night?"

@Joe Cummings What a great song, exactly !!  I DID IT MY WAY !! BRAVO !!!

And you need to be specific about what you were promised in the contract and paid for, but did not get.

Debbie we need to know how the $41,000 is billed on your credit cards

How much is on credit card #1

How much is on credit card #2

How much is on credit card #3

How did the Guru send you your Money. Is it a deduction on your credit card or a check??
Thanks

I have paid all these below amounts through credit cards

credit card#1  $1,997 ( from my existing card a. ) paid on Jan 28

credit card      $ 4,500 ( from my existing card a. ) paid on Feb 08

credit card #3  $ 10,000 ( from a new opened credit card ) paid on  Feb 25

credit card #4  $9,900 ( from raise credit limit of existing card ) paid on Feb 25

credit card#5  $14,500 ( from a new opened credit card ) paid on Feb 24

            total $ 40,897

@Colette LaVoy sure ! this sounds like a good plan.

much appreciated !

@Jennifer T. The reason why I have hesitated for so long is this guru company agree to pay a further $4,500 if I sign their refund agreement. I am SO WORRY if the  two CC company all fail then they might not even pay this $4,500 as negotiated, I end up getting only $14,500 out of $41,000.

@Lance Van Buren @Barbara G. and countless people had chipped in to this thread, wow wow wow!!! you guys really got me tears... what a warm, genuine people you guys are....I am speechless !!

Yes, I called this morning to those 2 CC companies. As the amount is huge, they want me to put everything in writing. I spent whole afternoon collecting all emails/texting messages and ready to sent.

I also called the guru company left message saying I need to speak to them urgently, BUT NOT REPLY as always!

New update: i just received a email from the guru company as below:

I will submit your request a second time and try to get you a little bit more of a refund. Please allow me until Wednesday to get back with you.

Are they trying to hold me back on doing any actions?

I should still go ahead to file a dispute from my CC companies.

@Barbara G. I understand everyone here is trying to help me and asking me to reveal the name of the company, and BELIEVE me I do want to make a big alarm publicly to warn people don't fall in the trap.

Thinking if reveal the name, this might make whole things more complicated, maybe I still want to negotiate with the company myself ? and I know some member from this BP forum works for them, so there are just reasons holding me back. and believe me, I am not clear and certain right now after going through this lengthy forum with many many suggestion.

Please understand me here, I might consult some people first then I will go from there.

@Joe Moore this is a great tool to have- legal shield !

After the mistake, I was telling myself "don't think from now on, I will ever sign any contract again ! " LOL, of course I am not ready to give up on RE investment.
