Hey Gabriel Beverly welcome to BP man! I’m into fitness as well and think that’s awesome you want to own your own gym. I did the same thing as you and had my headphones in 24/7 listening to as many podcasts as possible. Once I had listened to them all I started over. I finally bought a 3 bed 1 bath house that has a mother in law suite attached to it. I’m not sure if you’ve gotten to the BRRRR (Buy Rehab Rent Refinance Repeat) strategy in the podcasts that Brandon Turner talks about yet, but that’s exactly what I’m doing. Bought it through foreclosure, so I bought it for very cheap. Needs a lot of work, but I’ll live in the mother in law and rent out the main house (House Hacking). Just keep listening to the podcasts and keep learning! I wrote down all of the books that were people’s favorites from each podcast, but I believe there is actually a book list on the site. That’s great and smart to learn the business. I am currently doing a BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) on a mutifamily Property and got the idea from Brandon Turner’s Book, “The Book on Rental Property Investing.” https://www.biggerpockets.com/rentalbook. Like I said, I’m doing buy and hold on mutifamily properties and this book is what made this possible. It’s not too long of a read, so if you are curious about possibly doing buy and hold first check it out. I can’t tell you how much it has helped me.
