I've never been a fan of semi gloss on the walls, so I use Sherwin Williams satin on all walls (either Wool Skein or Popular Gray), with semi gloss Westhighland White for all trim/doors.

The incredibly sloppy guys who installed some of my windows managed to get caulking and filth all over the walls one time...I thought I'd have to repaint, but everything came right off the satin finish.

I've used these from Amazon (helps if you're a Prime member)...a couple  more bucks than the Lowe's flush mounts but I think they're a little nicer quality:

That kitchen gives me a headache...all that squiggly crap on the doors and walls, is that caulk "art"?

That house just makes me sad. It's beyond obnoxious.

I would at least show up for a while the work was going on. I had a (highly recommended) contractor install windows in an empty house of mine...I went to the house that evening after they left to check out their work, and found that his guys were smoking weed in my house. Left seeds and all on my countertop. Super!

Yeah, they were fired.

Wow, what a transformation - beautiful work. I love the colors and the tile/pebble work in that bathroom.
