No I didn't.. I did a lot of research, spoke with a lot of people.. would really like to just get it out of my hands as I dont have the $$ to move forward.

Even though you purchased from the State you will need to file a Complaint to Quiet/Confirm Patent. The steps are laid out in Mississippi statutory law but it would be difficult for a non-attorney to handle. Try reaching out to attorneys other than those who are real estate only. Many attorneys are capable of handling this type of thing as it is more of a litigation/transactional type action. If you don't have any luck, contact the Chancery Clerk's office in the county where you have the property. They should be able to provide you with a few names. Good luck!
