I am looking at starting purchasing properties and utilizing a BRRRR strategy to grow and expand for the initial growth of my investing. I have some initial capital I'll be using for investing and plan to do the renovation work myself on the properties that I buy. The biggest thing that I am trying to figure out is that I have a friend who is also interested in investing in real estate with me, but has little to no capital to bring to the table, but he does have more availability of time and a good skill set working in the trades that would be very beneficial renovating properties. I am not sure if in the long run it is worth bringing him on as a partner in the business or not and having to split profits down the road or if bringing him on will be beneficial because of his skills and time he brings to the partnership. Also, he would be the primary property manager for us as well. Any thoughts on decision points and considerations of partnering with someone would be appreciated!
