Mark... I'm not with Constructive Loans. I'm done reading your stupid comments. Let's set up a time we can meet face to face. I'd love the opportunity to discuss your issue in person.

Hello BP,

Does anyone know a lender who can finance a rental loan in IL without an appraisal?

Thanks,

DN

It's definitely a lender overlay. You can find another lender who will not hit you for the additional expense, but it's not illegal to have overlays. I don't recommend creating fictitious rental agreements between you and your boyfriend. Just go find another lender without this overlay. Good luck.

  • Yes... I guess we're going to agree to disagree. We are an institution. We are lending private money. We're regulated as a lender. We have auditors in house as we speak.

    Hi Eric,

My employer is an institutional private money lender. We are backed by a 2B hedge fund. We have guidelines like conventional but obviously we are a conventional lender. We only originate business purpose loans.
