My question is what are my options for capital gains taxes? I am going to sell a flip house and profIt about $30k. Do I roll this into a new flip house, purchase investment property or down payment on the purchase of my own residence? Also I live in Texas?

I am looking to take on a few investors on some flip properties. Are there best practices for compensating investors? Is it a percentage of the profit or predetermined fixed amount?

Thank you all for the feedback.  I contacted a local banker who now is recommending we obtain an individual commercial mortgage for each property.  Is this the route to go?

We presently own 1 investment property with about $20K in equity.  We have the opportunity to purchase up to 6 more properties at once.  My previous lender told me Blanket mortgages no longer exist.  Is there any advice on multi-property financing?

Thank you for the information you provided.  We too are looking to do something similar therefore I'm on here looking for ideas.  We have 1 rental property and the opportunity to purchase 6 more at once.  A blanket mortgage seems the most logical for all 7 properties instead of 6 x 25% down.  Now off to find the mortgage.

@brandon_boyer did you receive my last post
It is the new SFABs the Army is developing. 3 SFAB will be out of Ft Hood.

@Brandon Boyer I am in the Killeen/Ft Hood area and presently own 1 single family property.  We are starting to look into multi-family in the area with the goal of 4 - 8 - 10 unit properties.  If you're interested in networking I would be happy to talk with you.

There is a new BDE coming to Ft Hood in the near future therefore I think this is the time.
