Hello BP! I am an out of state investor residing in southwest Michigan and just purchased a few SFR in the area, one in Detroit Shoreway and the other in Elyria. I thought it may be wise to look into having legal council in the area if needed and wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations or advice in this matter. Please feel free to respond or PM me. Thanks @James Wise I appreciate the response.  There just isn't any inventory in my local market (Kalamazoo) and Grand Rapids, the other major market in West Michigan, is way over priced.  I would say the cap rate is slightly better in Cleveland and much more properties to choose from.  Any good deal in my area has 4 offers the day it was listed.
