Post: My home is in forclosure and I'm in a divorce - please help

Due to divorce and other factors - my home is $119,000 past due with about $15,400 in back escrow fees, the mortgage is $4200 and could be re-instated - wife does not want to sell it to me, even though I would like to keep it

anyone have any ideas on how I can come to end of this problem home? Ideally, I want to keep the home, I'm open to ideas on how to save or sell the home - please be nice as this is not an ideal situation so I'm looking for a way forward, I know I screwed up, I'm looking for some help

I live in the United States, but spend a good deal of time in the UK now. I like duplexes and multi-family here in the states, but in the UK I find they use something called HMO.

Is there a group on BP that invests in the HMO, I'm in the Mansfield area when I'm in the UK. Would love to connect with and learn more about HMO investments or some other type of multi family out there.

Thank you -

I’m looking for assistance or knowledge on loan modifications My friend has been working with a lender to modify their loan and it’s been going on a year They did try to make a payment on their loan after their hardship was done but the payment was sent back They have been working direct with the lender since March and began to use a non profit place in November to continue to try to modify The lender has had them fill in the same paper work over and over My question or request to the group is this; Are there any faster ways to make this modification happen for her? She wants to stay in the home and can not pay the past due amount but can pay the payments if it was modified Any help is appreciated and thank you
