Edgar. Turns out there is already a Williamsburg group, but it has been dormant during COVID, https://www.facebook.com/williamsburginvestors . You can follow them on facebook so you can see when meetings will resume.

Rob. Thanks for the advice. Turns out there already was a REIA meet up in the area that has now been dormant due to COVID, but will become active again as soon as our COVID subsides to a manageable level. Thanks for the response to my post.

I'm a local investor in Williamsburg and I'm curious if there is sufficient interest to start a Williamsburg, VA meet up. The Southside has the Tidewater Real Estate Investors Group (TRIG) and there is also the Peninsula Real Estate Investors Association (PREIA). There are also pros and cons to each of those groups, but I thought it would be good to start a group for those of us who focus on the Williamsburg area. Please let me know if you are interested. I'd like to start something as soon as COVID restrictions allow. Thank you and I look forward to meeting other Williamsburg investors.
