Hey Brittany, I was able to replace my W-2 in 90 days. All due respect to people who have had a different experience. I hope I dont have to tell you not to let other people discourage you.  I mean family or "real estate professionals".

I started a wholesaling company, co-founded a real estate investors assn, and did it with bad credit, no cash and no diploma. Message me if you want someone who can tell you your dreams ARE possible if you work for them.

@Jessica Flint If you plan on doing real estate investing you're gonna want to analyze your deal like it's a flip, The most conservative analysis. Then you have several exit strategies and you don't get caught with your pants down.

I actually DID the human bandit sign thing... I'm an investor just starting out. I found another investor at the local REIA that has has some real success and joined his mentoring group. Because I have very little money to start out with he gave me the homework of making a sign and standing out on a local corner with it. Results so far?? The first day between 4pm and 6pm nothing, but the second day I got a good lead! I'm pretty excited! Just a couple hours a day in a high traffic area with a $15 sign payed off so far.

I'm ready to embark on a life of education, challenges and hard work.  Use me, use me! (As long as I'm learning! ) I'm in this for the long haul. I've been interested in real estate for a long time and am now mature enough to get the education and do what I have to in order to build wealth. The odds are I will not be posting questions anytime soon as there are many resources here for me to read first. I am starting by reading all of the basics.
