Thanks for the help and advice. Michelle Rogers-Johnson I am working on improving my credit and getting cash reserves together. I am medically retired Military and I used my VA Loan on a property but had to give it up since I could not keep up with the maintenance I was on a very limited income at the time. I am good friends with a local investor and I am trying to learn what I can from her. Property management would be harder for me not impossible due to my autoimmune disease. Right now I am just reading books trying to network and look at properties to see if they meet my criteria. Alex Breshears I have lived in the area for 15 years but never really looked at investing till recently.  Thanks for the advice I am looking at creative financing and if you ever want to get together for lunch to meet up let me know.  Same goes for you Michelle Rogers Johnson.  Sean Rooks I will look at the groups.  Thanks everyone for the help and support.

Hello Guys,

My name is David I am from Portsmouth VA. I have started to take the plunge into real estate investing in my area. I am looking for creative ways to finance small multifamily properties. I am happy to meet and learn from people in my area. I know the Hampton Roads. I bought a few books to start my education and will be joining pro when I get some more saving.
