Hello BP fam! Does anyone know of any tax advisors/CPAs in the GVL/SPA area who does tax strategy planning for buy and hold, long and short term rental properties? Thank you in advance for any insights or recommendations!

Quote from @Kerry Noble Jr:

is your state an attorney state or a title company state? you can shoot me an inbox and ill discuss more

Hey, Kerry. I believe an attorney state. “In North Carolina, real estate closings are conducted by licensed attorneys in accordance with state law. It is the close out meeting between the buyer and the seller of real property wherein all the loose ends of a purchase is wrapped up pursuant to the agreements made in the Purchase and Sale Agreement.” - from a local attorney’s webpage.

Thanks so much for any insights or advice.

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to wholesaling, mostly very interested in doing 1 deal and figuring out if this is a tool worth adding to the toolbox. Up to this point, I've primarily focused on buy and hold rentals, BRRRR, short term rentals +/- arbitrage.

Would anyone be able to offer advice/insight into the logistics of wholesaling, specifically how contracts work, whether an attorney is necessary/what sort of fees associated if so, and any other logistical aspects of wholesaling?

Thank you in advance for any advice!
David

Hi! I'm a new REI in the Durham/Chapel Hill NC area where I work as a medical doctor in training (resident). I'm interested in buying and holding single family properties as rental units for cash flow (also interested in BRRRR). I would love to connect with other real estate investors in the area to learn from each other and help each other out in any way possible! I look forward to hearing from you! - David
