@Jacob Oser

Don’t let the natural disaster thing discourage you. I’m assuming you mean tornadoes.

1) insurance

2) there are thousands and thousands of homes in OKC that are 100 years old and have never been touched.

3) I would imagine 75% of okies would tell you they’ve never seen a tornado in person.

I’m interested in buying a couple of different properties that will only require small mortgages like for example one house is approximately 45k and one is 35k. Will conventional loans work for these or will I have to look at other options? Thanks in advance.

Brand new to bigger pockets and new to the real estate investing world.

I joined because I’m interested in investing in rental properties... and a lot of them.

My goal for this year is laid out as follows

Jan-March continue ingesting as much literature as possible and supercharge my networking. I’m looking to meet and get to know as many of the following as possible:

Investors

General contractors

Realtors/wholesalers/etc

Property managers

April - June: buy and rehab and get a tenant in my first property.

July - September: get a refinance on property 1 and begin property 2

October - December: refinance property 2 and start on properties 3 and 4.

I’m posting this on here hoping people interested in achieving similar goals will reach out! Looking forward to getting to know others in the business here in OKC
