Good to know might need to do the same if I reach that point.

@Tim Crosby

I’m new in the arena, gearing up for a fix and flip strategy.

I’d love to meet some time as well. I live in Riverview and work in Lakeland as well.

Depending on the particular situation the approach will be different.

Odoban as previously suggested is a fantastic option to neutralize smells, however, wont be effective on every surface.

Ozone generator does wonders as well, your best option is to rent one from a contractors rental store like United, Herc or Sunbelt, not sure what you have locally.

If the house hvac your best option will be to call someone who does duct cleaning.

If the house has carpet you will need a truck mounted hot water extraction performed by a professional, stay away from Stanley Steemer and any $9.99/ room company, and they will help you greatly.

If you do not want to handle the tasks yourself you can call your preferred local disaster remediation company and they can handle this for you, for a premium of course.

In my other life I owned a floor care company and I’m familiar with odor removal.

One last suggestion, if you want help with any of this and look to diy it go to your local janitorial supply or carpet cleaning supply place and they will walk you through everything as long as you are looking to buy the products from them.

I’m new here, been reading and listening for a bit and decided to join in. I live in the Tampa Bay Area and will be looking to invest in the next few months for the first time.
