thank you for the book recommendation. Our house is in the ridgewood neighborhood in Joliet. I'm about 35 episodes into the podcast. Very good info I've come across.

Let me start by introducing myself  my name is David. I live in Joliet. I'm 27 and soon to be married. We live in a house with no mortgage but needs rehab. Im looking for advice on how to leverage the house to jump start a career in real estate investing. I know there are some loans out there that focus on rehabilitation. I am just looking to get some advice on what steps I should take or what avenues I should explore with my intent to get in to real estate investing. I know having the house we live in under my belt could only help with my plans right?
