Post: EXP Realty Sponsor in Florida

Hi,
I recently got my real estate license, and am looking to hang with EXP realty in Florida. I will be doing deals either in Central Florida / Orlando Area, or Southeast Florida / Juno Beach, Fort Lauderdale areas, as I have family looking in both areas. I am hoping to join EXP as I have a good full time job, and am only planning to do this part-time.
I am reading online that I shouldn't hang my EXP license until I find a good sponsor. Is this the case? If so, is anyone with EXP in Florida / the locations above, who might be able to act as a good sponsor / support me in my Real Estate Agent development?

Hi All,
I'm looking for Property Managers in Orlando. This is primarily in relation to Davenport FL - near champions gate. I looked at prior postings and did not see a lot, so I wanted to ask on the forum again here in 2024. I would love to get into long-term rentals but mostly seem to get short-term management (mid-term would be awesome too), and I've used a few but am still looking for ones with lots of interaction and involvement, communication with me, and are good fits for investors who want to optimize, etc.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks!

I'm looking at closing on my first property in Central Florida, and don't know much about management companies out here. I'm looking at a home that's currently being used as a vacation rental, and am not sure which companies might be good for property management or if short-term rental or long-term rental might make more sense.

Questions:

- The house currently has "executive villas florida". How are they? Do you have any insights on them?
- What are the best property management companies, short-term and/or long-term, in Central Florida?
- Is short-term or long-term a better way to go? The house is furnished, near the "Providence" community in Davenport
- What questions should I be sure to ask/information should I get from property management companies to ensure they're a good one to pick?

Thanks!

2.8% is for the first-time home-buyer deal by the way - haven't gauged rates for an investment loan

I'm looking to close on my first property in the Austin Area and I've heard that Credit Unions are a good way to go for getting great interest rates and such. I'm seeking either a first-time home-buyer loan, or a residential investment loan. I was pre-approved by a few websites like Better Mortgage, but I want to ensure I'm getting the best deal. I've been offered rates like 2.8% at time of approval. My credit score is something like 780, I have a full-time job, and no real monthly obligations or debt. However, I also have no investment property yet. Do you have any favorite lenders right now? Thanks!

@Darius Ogloza I did, thanks! It looks more like -$1000 if I’m in one bedroom in one side, but I’m more worried about the long-term as opposed to the time I’m in it.

@Ryan Kelly thanks Ryan! Yes, by PMI I meant mortgage insurance. I'm not sure about that rent, is it very under for a 2/2? They both seemed out of date with room for improvement, definitely. Definitely appreciate any help in analyzing the numbers, thank you very much!
