When the redesign went live yesterday, the Monitored threads was named Followed.  It is back to "Monitored" for me again.

As for the threads you posted in, look at the upper right side of your screen.  Below the Facebook like and Twitter Tweet icons, there are links for "My Discussions" and "Forum Rules."  I didn't notice the links until this evening.

Before you embark on your career in real estate, can you please fix the traffic issues with the Squirrel Hill tunnel.  Just kidding.  Thankfully my travels don't include that nightmare.

Welcome to BP!

The "Followed" topics isn't working for me.

I do like the design though.

@Mike Sheppard

When it comes to REI, I am in the same boat as you are just trying to learn.

If you would like some suggestions for your 401k, I know a really good personal finance site that (like BP) has a lot of knowledgeable people willing to help on the forum. The site is how I found out about BiggerPockets. PM if you are interested.

@Mike Sheppard

You are talking about a 401k as if it is a TYPE of an investment, which suggests you don't have a great understanding of it. It is an employer sponsored retirement plan, which should provide you with a wide variety of investment options. Do you know what your 401k money is invested in?

You stated "I feel like pulling the money out, taking the "loss" which would have been money I never would have seen anyways." What exactly does that mean?

My suggestion would be to select an index fund, if available in your plan, that mirrors the S&P 500. There are much better ways to launch your REI career than to take money from that account.
